Coaching
My approach to coaching centres around helping people to develop two major components of collaboration namely communication and relationship skills. Also since emotion is the key element of motivation I invest time with the coachee in helping them to understand the link between emotion and motivation.
In my work with people I find that a large proportion of the issues are influenced by communication factors, both the quality and appropriateness of spoken and written words as well as how they are interpreted by the receiver.
I typically work with people for a set number of sessions, usually between four and six sessions lasting about 120 minutes each.
I utilise a variety of tools and techniques dependent on the needs of the coachee, making best use of NLP and psychometric assessments such as MBTI® & EIQ® where appropriate.
The coaching relationship is built on the principles of collaboration and aims to help people overcome their defensiveness and build more successful relationships.
